AMI Digital Free Educational Resources

AMI Digital is in the process of being converted to an accessible and affordable membership service with thousands of high-quality downloadable resources.

In the meantime, to provide support during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association Montessori Internationale is offering a range of digital resources free of charge to schools, educators and families.

You do not need to set up an account or give any details. The resources are completely free and available to be downloaded.

We have started with language materials for children aged 3 to 6 though some will be suitable for older children.  We will be adding additional resources over the coming weeks, so please check back.

For students currently undertaking an AMI 6-12 Diploma Course, please email us at [email protected] if you require access to the Elementary Charts.

If you would like to make a donation to support this work please click here so we can provide additional free resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Classified Cards

Classified Cards are collections of pictures that show and classify various aspects of the world around the child. Click here for information about how to use Classified Cards with your children.

If you have access to a printer it is ideal to print the resources out on paper and cut out the cards.  We have also produced a simple screen version of the activity.

As you browse the different sets of cards some will be more relevant to your culture than others. Please feel free to omit cards or combine cards from another set when using them with your children. As we develop the site we will be happy to add cards that match your specific culture and would appreciate any suggestions that you may have. We are also working to translate the resources into as many languages as possible and have included a translation template with each set of the Classified Cards. Please email translations to [email protected].

Breach of Copyright Statement

First and foremost, it is AMI’s intention that the resources on this website are made freely available to schools, educators and families to assist during the COVID-19 pandemic.

AMI has been made aware that individuals and groups, having removed the AMI logo, are unlawfully selling these resources for their own profit.  Where such conduct comes to AMI's attention it will seek appropriate legal remedy.

This unethical and unlawful conduct not only deprives schools, educators and families of much needed free resources, but is a breach of AMI’s copyright and the copyright of any other parties that have licensed the use of the images to AMI.  These third parties may also, independently, pursue legal action.

Please let AMI know if you are aware of any of these fraudulent activities.
